My last "official" session of 2009! WOW. Can't believe 2010 is just around

the corner.....

I had the complete honor of photographing the entire Jones family this past

weekend at the beautiful Percy Warner Park in Belle Meade. It was cold....

but, let me just tell ya...these cute kiddos charm would warm anyone's heart!

They did mine in the first 10 seconds I met them.

One of Donna's best friends is also a photographer (amazing one at that), but

she just recently moved to New York. I knew I had some big shoes to fill when

they all arrived. Needless to say I think they were pleased with the results..

which made me happy!

laura beth + ben | middle tennessee couple photographer

It was a rainy, muddy day in Middle Tennessee, BUT we got through it! ...

LB's big sis is a dear friend of mine. As soon as she stepped out of the car

I thought I was staring at my friend! Crazy how much they favor. Anyway,

enough rambling....Laura Beth & Ben are getting married May 29th at their

sweet parents home and she wanted me to get some engagement pictures of

them while they were in town from Samford.

We met up at Canonsburg in Murfreesboro and like always I kept them moving

so we could get a variety of shots...We had a great time! I was able to get Ben

to relax & get sweet LB's dad to smile and show his great teeth! Lots of fun.....

eventhough the odds were against us (rain + cold)! Their love warmed everything

up (cheesy, I know)....lol

Good Luck LB & Ben!! Look forward to catching up with you guys in the future!

my tyler 3 year pics | middle tennessee children's photographer

This handsome fella is all mine. My (in 2 days) 3 year old Tyler Drake.

Unbelievable how fast time flies when you have children, but it does!

I have even asked Santa for a pause button...wonder if he will deliver?

Anyway, I got some shots of him inside + outside our home. Just trying to

catch his personality. I loved it. But, as I was finishing up the editing process

tears came down my face. My little fella is growing up!! :(

I am so thankful + beyond blessed to be given the gift to be his mom. I love you TD!

madison 18 months | middle tennessee children's photographer

Sweet Madi! I was so excited that I was finally going to meet this adorable girls MOM.

We hooked up at the Factory in Franklin and had the best time just letting Madi be herself.

Her eyes are unbelievable...trust me...no editing done to those baby blues. What you see is

what you get!! (breathtaking, really).

Anyway, I loved photographing this doll and I sure hope I get to again really soon!

heather, savannah + montanna | nashville tennessee family

I had so much fun with this mom and her 2 girls. Gorgeous family! I loved how

Savannah was rocking her tennis shoes. She reminded me of a girl you would meet

in California. Layed back, cool style. Montanna was everything girl. She had her

cute boots on, skinny jeans and a smile that would melt anyones heart. Precious, precious girls.

There is no denying the love between these 3 and I feel so blessed to be the one

they asked to capture some great moments!

ron, megan + carter | nashville tennessee family photographer

I LOVE meeting new families. This one was just as sweet as can be. And, their little

son Carter (who just turned 1)....is a ham if I ever knew one! As soon as he got out of

the car he was grinning from ear to ear and just loved being in front of the camera. I

kept telling his mom + dad that I thought he might just have been my best subject.

He just kept the facial expressions coming.

We had the best time!

I was so happy to finally hook up with Toni and her adorable family. Toni & I go back....

high school!...we both cheered for the Warriors. (seems ages ago...lol) Anyway, now

we are both married and have 2 great kiddos!!

This is why I love photography...I get to meet new people, but I also get to visit with

old friends and capture new chapters in their life. I love it!!

Such a fun session. Nothing like a big brother looking out for his baby sis.

john ingle 6 months | nashville tennessee baby photographer

Sweet John Ingle! He just turned 6 months. He still has those baby blues and cute

cheeks that I adore. I am so glad I got to spend some time with him and his sweet

parents. Look forward to catching back up right around Spring time. I want to get

him outside in the corn field behind his mom + dad's house. That is when we are

really gonna have some fun. See you soon little fella. Don't grow too much!

I got see sweet Emmi TWICE in 1 week! Her sweet mom wanted to get together again to try to get

that perfect Holiday photo with all the kiddos. Someone must have been looking out for us, because

it snowed just enough to add a sweet touch to the pictures. It was COLD, but the kiddos were champs.

 I have never seen a 6 month smile as much as this little one...especially when it was only 30 degrees.

 What a wonderful family. Hope to see them again soon!

I got to photograph this cute guy when he was just 8 months old...now he is 1 years old!! Hard to
believe. Soon he will be joined by a cute baby brother who will be named William. Oh, I can't wait
to see them in action as they grow!

Anyway, I just adore this fella and his sweet mom who braved the super cold Nashville day. But, we got some super cute photographs out of it.

See you in a few short months sweet boy when I get to meet your baby brother. Don't grow TOOO much!!

emmi sweet 16 | nashville, tennessee portrait photographer

I haven't seen this sweet girl since she was a tiny 1 year old. Yesterday she turned 16! My goodness has she grown into an amazing and beautiful young woman. I loved that her mom asked me to capture her spirit on her special day. We had such a great time.

I loved that I could throw a chair out there and say stand here...I know it seems strange, but I promise it will turn out great!! And, they did. The camera just loved Emmi.

Happy Sweet 16 Emmi! I hope not another 15 years go by before I see you again.
