Yes, I am.....and soooooo very thankful for it!

I have had a lot of people call lately and say "sara, I want to book in the next 2 weeks"...WELL, if
you called last year I would most likely have been able to get you scheduled, but not this year.  That makes
me HAPPY, but also kinda sad.  Because, I know some people wait until the last minute and I really really
really wish I could accommodate, BUT with {MOM} being my 1st job I can't.....boooooo!

The Best Love Note YET

Late lastnight my husband was browsing around facebook while I was asleep on the couch and he
comes over to me and says..."babe, something special you will want to read".  I looked up at him like "really"?
But, he was right.  THE sweetest most sincere "love note" {aka comments about my photographs}
I have ever received and it came from Madden's dad, Kevin.

Subject::  Pictures that tell a story

Our absolutely precious, amazing, sweet little boy just turned ONE year old, 3 weeks ago. On Saturday, we had a very talented 
and wonderful friend of ours take his 1 year old pictures. The weather was absolutely beautiful (57 and Sunny), making for the most
 superb setting. The links below will tell the rest of the story. The after-story, is one I've yet to be able to completely absorb or digest. 
Upon receiving a link to view the pictures yesterday, our smiles could not be hidden. For the next 4-5 minutes while viewing the results, 
our smiles somehow managed to squeeze our eyeballs to the point where they leaked uncontrollably. We were overtaken by the story 
that these pictures share and how blessed we are to be a part of this story. A story of dependence, a story of trust, a story of innocence,
 a story of intrigue, a story of love, joy and happiness. This is a story that will never grow old, but rather one we will grow old with. 
We thank Sara for capturing this story with us!

EXCITING news!!

I got an email from the sweet Carol Cowen {remember John Cowen the talented musician we
photographed last week you can see video footage of it here and some of the highlights here.}
Well, Carol is John's sweet & beautiful wife!

WELL, she emailed me to see if I would send the images below that I had taken of John so one may be
used for the booklet or for something with the publicity push for the cd either in April on later in the
year!  How exciting for SRP!!!

Can't wait to get the news to which avenue they chose for the image!!  This has just made my YEAR.

Thank you J & C for even considering the image.  It truly means the WORLD to this small town
girl trying to make it BIG!  {XO}

first dance video

We just got the video back from the TALENTED Bill Vincent {First Dance Video} who was behind
the scenes last week while a group of photographers had a day-of-fun at the awesome
3rd aVenue South venue.

{good news}

I got a call from a dear friend today who is the Event Director @ the Red House.  She asked if I could
pull a photo from my archives from the wedding I shot last year.  Check out Dan & Cindy

The image may be used in a publication for the Red House and I couldn't be more thrilled.

Still one of my all time fave's.  Just a {super special} moment captured in time.  Technically not the
BEST photo, but to me it was and still is perfect.  Can't wait to capture some wonderful moments
for all my bride's this year.  Good Times!!

Oh, how I love love love brand new babies!!  I will be photographing 3 (maybe 4) brand new babes
this month, {2} 3 month olds & {1} 9 month old....SO EXCITING.

And, to top it off I have a fun couples session scheduled Downtown Nashville at the end of the
month!.  Remember {Terry + Courtney}?  I will be photographing some of their great friends!  Oh
yeah....so excited to get back downtown for some fun....

But, FIRST...I will be attending the "Spread the Love" workshop by {Justin + Mary} on Thursday.  Look forward to learning A L O T.
