last official post on THIS blog!!

Soooooo....the new blog is ALmost ready to be published!  But, FIRST I wanted to share with you some
of my favorite images from our trip to Maui.  I have like 300+ as you can only imagine so I picked these.

It was such a wonderful trip.  Much needed.  Much deserved.  And, I am ready to go back!  LOL

So, anyway........I am going to do a whole major post about the details of the trip on the NEW blog which
will be introduced on FRIDAY via my facebook fan page!  So, if you are not a fan yet, become a fan
today so you will be one of the first to see the brand new look of SRP!  I am so excited to share.

It will also include new posts on a beautiful mom to be, a newborn, a 1 year old and sweet cousins.
All sessions from this week!  So, stay tuned....get ready...it's awesome!

ALSO....July 1st I will be opening up my bookings for Fall.  Fall starts August 21st for SRP.  I will
only be working a few weekends out of each month, so once I am booked...I am booked!!  And, will
not be accepting new sessions until Spring 2011.  {unless you are in the middle of the first year package}.

imma be on vacation....!!!

So, I knew when I looked at my March through end of May calendar that I must have lost my mind, well
I didn't THINK that until this past week.  But, the good thing about being so crazy busy makes where
I am about to go even more special!

YES!!  I am going on vacation.  And, not just ANY vacation.  My husband {T Rose}& I are celebrating
5 amazing years of marriage on June 11th.  When we got married we moved straight to Dallas so no
honeymoon.  The following year we had Tyler, the next year we moved back to Nashville and then
the following year we had our second son, Colton.  So, it's time.  It's time to fall in love all over again.
It's time to relax, re-focus and re-energize!  So, I am signing off!!

I will be back checking emails June 13th!  I am actually back to work on that day...yeah, I know.  But, it's
a maternity shoot and you know how I feel about my momma's to be! :)

Meet the adorable, fun, extremely smart 2 year old Emerson.  Yes, those blue eyes are real.  Yes, that
cute grin will melt your heart.

I only had 30 minutes with this precious girl, but in that time this little gem gave me lots of smiles, lots
of chuckles, lots of poses....can we say she is all girl?!  I loved it!

Sweet Emerson is getting a baby brother or sister in a little over 5 months!  Sure hope I get to meet the
little bundle of joy and see this adorable punkin again!

I can't believe it came and went.  Terry & Courtney's Wedding Day.  And, I am wanting a
do-over.  Not because it wasn't perfect the first time around, BUT because it was perfect.  Everything
about the day was what little girls dream of.  The support from amazing friends {bridesmaids/groomsmen},
to the love from family, to the everlasting love that Terry & Courtney share is what we all hope for.  They
had it.  They have it.  And, I feel so completely honored to have been able to share in all of that on
their Wedding Day.

The day started around noon on Saturday.  Fun time getting to know all  the ladies.  We laughed, I cried,
we worked, they snacked, they got ready, we sat back and captured it all unfolding into a dream.

Courtney is one of the most beautiful people I know inside and out.  To see her put that dress on with
her mom standing close was so touching.  It's was like watching Cinderella in real life.  Just gorgeous.

After portraits we headed over to the Church.  The first person I wanted to see was Terry.  He looked
so handsome.  And, all I could think about is what he was going to feel when he saw his Queen walk
down that aisle.

The time had finally come.  And, it was magical, emotional, breathtaking and absolutely beautiful.

The event from beginning to end was just so wonderful.  Family and friends gathered together to help
make the day so special for Terry and Courtney.  The love from all was undeniable.

A day I will never forget.  A couple I will forever hold close to my heart.

Oh, I hope I can through this post without crying, but that is doubtful.  See Friday morning I had the
complete honor of being a part of something so magical.  McClain's birth story.  Sweet mom Andrea and I
are great friends and I couldn't imagine a better gift than to capture that for her so she may keep forever.

So, on Monday McClain turned 3 days young and it was time for his newborn photos.  I am almost thinking
3 days is the way to go!!  Little bug just slept...slept.....and slept.  Perfect.

I am so in love with babies and even more in love with the day they come into this world.  It is such a gift
to be a mom and such a blessing to be a photographer who can be a part of someone else becoming a mom.
Especially to her second child and first son.

Such an emotional weekend filled with so much love.  THIS is why I love what I do.

Remember this precious girl!!!  Oh, I just ADORE this age.  It really gets to be so much fun right around
6 months, but 8 months....whew!!  good times!

Changing things up a bit we met downtown Murfreesboro on Sunday morning.  It was a complete ghost
town...which was nice.  We just walked through the square and when we would come upon a cool wall
we would stop, change Gabby's clothes and have fun.

I had so much fun visiting with sweet mom Sarah.  Dad's cool too, but you know us moms like to chat!  lol

Can't believe her next session will be her 1 year.  Makes me so very sad!!  But, I bet we can come up
with something super cute for this one.of.a.kind cutie on her 1st birthday.  Can we all say "gigi's cupcake".
Awwww....makes me hungry thinking about it!

Meet sweet brothers Austin 11, Phillip 14 and their sweet cousin Ella 2.  Hmmm, what to do with
teenage boys who mom warned me would not smile.  Oh, the challenge....I was totally up for it.

Went to a new location for this family so they could just be themselves.  It really didn't take long for them
to relax.  The secret?  The secret was their precious cousin Ella.  I do believe she has their hearts!  It
really was so very sweet.

I also found out that Ella's mommy is having another baby!  I sure can't wait to do maternity photos.  You
know how much I love those!!

Anyway, sure was fun hanging out with all of you!  Phillip, hope you love high school.  Austin, hope
your girlfriend loves these!  {lol}....  Ella, don't change a thing sweet girl!

Meet little 10 month old Charmer Logan.  Is he not just a doll??

Mom contacted me a while back because grandpa and grandma were in town and she wanted to get some
shots with them with the lil guy.  Glad it worked out!!

Logan is inquisitive, sweet, laid back, smart and adorable.  What a combination to have already at such
a young age.

I sure hope this isn't the last time I see him or his sweet family!!  I just enjoyed every minute of it!

Meet adorable 5 day young Drew, her cutie 3 year old big brother Croix and their protector Sampson.
Oh, and their beautiful momma Ashley.....can't forget gorgeous mom!

After experiencing the birth story with Andrea Friday morning it was only fitting that I hop on over to
her bestfriends home and photograph their new baby girl!  Yes, Andrea & Ashley...bff's, practically
neighbors and having babies all within days of one another!  Sweet, huh?

Anyway, back to this sweet family.  Drew was an absolute doll.  Goodness I can only imagine what she
will look like as the year goes on.  Then, there is Croix.  I get to take his 3 year photos soon and I am so
looking forward to.  That little ham reminds me so much for my Tyler it's not even funny.  Oh, the fun
I am going to have with him!  Can't forget Sampson.  That precious pup was wanting to be photographed
just like the rest of his siblings.  I loved it!

I am looking forward to getting to know this family so much more over the next year.  We are definitely
going to have some good times and capture sweet moments at the same time!!

See you soon Chevalier family!!  It was a pleasure to spend a few hours with you this past weekend.  Can't
wait to do it again in 3 short months.
